One of the most exciting and joyous times in our lives is
when we find out we have a little one on the way. While it can be overwhelming
at times in the nine months that precede getting to see that sweet face for the
first time, it can also be so much fun! If there’s one part of pregnancy that
mommies-to-be love, it’s nursery decorating. We’ve complied a list of our top 5
nursery essentials to help make the process a bit easier for you so you can
have more fun doing it. Enjoy!
#1 Crib
This is an obvious one, but it’s also the most important.
Shopping for a new crib is a lot like shopping for a new car. There’s a bunch
of different makes and models out there and while we’re certainly not crib
experts, we can say that it’s important to do your research and find a crib
that meets all your needs and standards.
#2 Rocking Chair
Another obvious one, but still essential to a complete
nursery. It’s okay to spend some good money on this one, because trust us –you’ll
be spending a lot of time in this chair.
#3 Baby Monitor
If you’re a worry wart like us or you’re just curious to see
what your baby is up to when you’re not in the room, you’ll being needing a
monitor. Just like cribs, there are a ton of makes and models out there, so do
your research before investing in one of these babies.
#4 Changing Table
Ah the changing table/dresser combo. This 2-in-1 is
essential to keeping an organized and clean nursery for you and your baby.
While these can be pricey, they can also be great DIY projects for you and your
husband to work on together and something that you can keep for a long time
after your baby is out of diapers.
#5 the Applesauce Baby Collection
We might be a little biased (okay very biased), but to make your
nursery feel more homey and comfortable for your bundle of joy we suggest
adding a few of the adorable products from our collection. Each Applesauce
product was picked with love and consideration with you and your baby in mind.
